On WBOC-TV’s DelmarvaLife I told the amazing story of James Collins Johnson, a Talbot County man whose life journey went from slavery to ridicule to disaster but ended in a place of honor. He’s buried in the same cemetery as a former president and a former vice president. His life is celebrated on Princeton University’s Ivy League campus, where Johnson was a fixture for many decades.

I also tell Johnson's story in my book, "Tubman Travels: 32 Underground Railroad Journeys on Delmarva." More info on that: https://www.secretsoftheeasternshore.com/product-category/books/
