Author and storyteller Jim Duffy of Secrets of the Eastern Shore will spin fun and fascinating true-life “Delmarva Tales” on Thu., Nov. 13, 2025 at the Oxford (Md.) Community Center. The show begins at 5:30pm.
The talk will include stories from Duffy’s new book, Ordinary Heroes of Old Delmarva: Inspiring True Tales of Courage, Kindness, and Community. Duffy will be signing books and chatting with attendees after the talk. Books will be available for purchase as well.
Duffy has given storytelling presentations focused on local history and culture topics in dozens of towns up and down the Delmarva Peninsula in recent years. He is the author of six books about travel, history, and culture on the Delmarva Peninsula, including two popular collections of Eastern Shore Road Trips.
