Delmarva storyteller Jim Duffy from Secrets of the Eastern Shore and WBOC-TV’s “DelmarvaLife” will spin fun and fascinating true-life tales from Delmarva days gone by on Tue., April 21, 2026 at the Caroline County library branch in Denton, Md. The show starts at 6pm.

Here in this sesquicentennial birthday year for our country, Duffy will be sure to include some all-American tales touching on themes of revolution, freedom, success, and ingenuity.
Duffy has written six books about the Delmarva Peninsula, including two collections of Eastern Shore Road Trips. His latest book is a collection of inspiring tales, Ordinary Heroes of Old Delmarva. He is a regular on WBOC-TV’s “DelmarvaLife,” telling Throwback Thursday stories with Lisa Bryant and Steve Monz. He’s the man behind the curtain at the popular “Secrets of the Eastern Shore” sites on the web and social media. He will bring a box of books along in case anyone is interested in an autographed copy or two.
