“This is such an incredible place we get to call home,” Duffy says. “What I’m trying to do with these books is encourage people to get out and explore the region while also giving them a sense for how many fascinating and important stories you can get in touch with while wandering through the Delmarva Peninsula.”

All three books are published under the banner of Secrets of the Eastern Shore, a local business that celebrates the beauty and heritage of the Delmarva Peninsula in books, photographs, greeting cards, and other products. Duffy runs the business in partnership with his wife, the photographer Jill Jasuta.

Located at 4 North Washington Street, Vintage Books & Fine Art showcases the work of regional artists in a bookstore environment focused on rare and used titles, with special collections devoted to Eastern Shore history as well as poetry, literature, maps, and historic documents. The book signing is scheduled for 5-8pm.

More information about the book signing is available by visiting VintageBooksMD.com or contacting owner Tim Boyle at info@vintagebooksmd.com. You can email Jim Duffy at SecretsoftheEasternShore@gmail.com.
